Review Session
For an additional fee, NEEMSI
offers an optional skills review
session. This course is held on
the Saturday prior to each ALS
Exam. The 4 hour session starts
at 1300, and offered at New
England EMS Institute.
This course is administered by
NEEMSI's adjunct faculty, and is
designed to provide an
opportunity for skills practice
related to NREMT testing
stations.

Audience: Paramedic, EMT-Advanced (Intermediate).
Prerequisite: For NH Trained ALS Candidates (Paramedic & Advanced)
New England EMS Institute now offers MONTHLY National Registry Practical Exams
for the EMT-Advanced and Paramedic students.
To be eligible for testing, candidates are required to register with the NH Bureau of
EMS AND the New England EMS Institute. All New Hampshire-trained ALS
candidates must meet ALL eligibility criteria and be authorized by Division of Fire
Standards and Training & Emergency Medical Services (FST&EMS).
Scheduling for practical examinations may take up to four weeks after ALS program
completion to ensure that all agency testing applications, criteria and other
requirements are met.
ALS Practical Exam registration must be completed no less than 15 business days
prior to the scheduled examination date.
By the registration deadline, candidates must have successfully completed an
FST & EMS Authorized ALS Training Program.
Candidate must complete an FST&EMS ALS Examination Registration Form and
return to FST&EMS.

A final "Course Completion Roster" from the course instructor/coordinator must be on
file with FST&EMS by the registration deadline.

Select the month & the appropriate certification level (EMT-A (or I) or EMT-P). If you
do not see the month and/or certification level, the registration process for that month
has closed. Should this happen please select the next month, or review the NHBEMS
for other test sites.
Contact NREMT for testing and eligibility criteria at least four weeks prior to test date
at www.nremt.org.
No candidate will be permitted to test if not approved prior to the examination by NH
FST&EMS, and New England EMS Institute.
Tuition:
The examination fee for Paramedic is $200
The examination fee for EMT-Advanced is $100

National Registry ALS Practical Exam Schedule at
New England EMS Institute
WHEN: The ALS Practical Exams are held on the second Sunday each month. The exams
begin at 0800.
WHERE: The exams are located at New England EMS Institute, 1050 Holt Avenue,
Manchester, NH. Although we attempt to offer same day skills retest opportunities, we do not
guarantee that they will be available.
