This course teaches students how to perform the cognitive and psychomotor skills for resuscitating and stabilizing infants and children in respiratory failure, shock, or cardiopulmonary arrest. Skills in bag-mask ventilation, management of airway, defibrillation and cardioversion, use of AEDs for children older than one year, and rhythm management are emphasized. A PALS course completion card is issued to students who successfully pass the written exam and skills test. The one-day renewal program is appropriate for healthcare providers looking to renew their PALS card.  Please Note: Registration Closes 2 Weeks Prior to Course Start Date Audience: Paramedic, RN, NP, PA, or MD.
